- WHO WE ARE
The Pajama Club (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website thepajamaclub.co (the “Site”), a blog based in Belize, C.A. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
If you have questions, you can reach us at info@thepajamaclub.co
- WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
a) Data you give us directly
- Email address and name, when you subscribe to our newsletter, opt into a free resource (e.g., our ebook or email course), or purchase a digital product
- Name, email address, and any message content, when you use our Contact Form
- Name, email address, website (optional), and comment content, when you leave a comment on a blog post
b) Data collected automatically
- IP address
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent, and referring/exit pages
- Approximate geographic location (derived from IP address)
- Cookie and tracking data (see Section 5)
c) Data from comments specifically
This Site runs on WordPress. When you leave a comment, WordPress automatically collects your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. If you provide an email address associated with Gravatar, your Gravatar profile picture (if public) may be displayed next to your comment. You can review the Gravatar service’s own privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy, or check whether your email address has a Gravatar account at gravatar.com.
d) Data from purchases (current and future)
Free resources are delivered via email opt-in through MailerLite. If we sell digital products directly or through a third-party platform (such as Gumroad, Teachable, or a similar checkout provider) now or in the future, that provider will collect and process your payment information directly — we do not store your credit card or payment details ourselves. Please refer to that provider’s own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
- HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the newsletter, free resources, and email courses you sign up for
- Respond to comments, contact form messages, and customer service requests
- Analyze Site traffic and understand how content is used (via Google Analytics)
- Display and measure the performance of advertising (via our ad partner, once active)
- Run Pinterest advertising and measure the performance of Pinterest campaigns (via the Pinterest Tag)
- Prevent spam and abuse in blog comments
- Fulfill purchases of digital products
- Comply with legal obligations
- LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (EU/UK/EEA VISITORS)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for newsletter sign-ups, free resource opt-ins, non-essential cookies, and advertising/tracking technologies
- Legitimate interest — for basic Site analytics, spam prevention, and Site security
- Contract performance — for fulfilling a purchase you make from us
- Legal obligation — where we’re required to retain or disclose information by law
You can withdraw consent at any time (e.g., unsubscribing from emails, adjusting cookie settings), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential site functionality
- Analytics (Google Analytics)
- Advertising (our ad network partner, once live)
- Pinterest conversion tracking (Pinterest Tag)

Where required (EU/UK/EEA visitors), we will request your consent to non-essential cookies via a cookie banner before they are set.

- ADVERTISING AND “DO NOT SELL OR SHARE” (CALIFORNIA VISITORS)
Once our ad network is active, we (through our ad partner) may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver interest-based advertising. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), this kind of data sharing with advertising partners may be considered a “sale” or “share” of personal information, even though no money changes hands.
California residents have the right to opt out of this.
- DATA RETENTION

- Comment data: retained indefinitely as part of the public comment record, unless you request removal

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [your email address]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30 days).
- CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
This Site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable EU jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it.
- DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your data, including relying on reputable third-party providers (MailerLite, our hosting provider) who maintain their own security standards. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
